I’m delighted to announce that I’ve been featured for the second time in Candlelight Magazine as the responding therapist for their popular “Dear Candlelight” column.

In this issue, I had the honor of responding to brave readers who wrote in about their experiences with grief and loss. Grief can be one of the most isolating human experiences, and it means a great deal to me to help remind people that they do not have to walk through it alone.

Reading these letters and offering compassionate, professional support is both humbling and deeply rewarding. My hope is that anyone currently grieving sees themselves reflected and feels a little less alone.

You can read the full issue (including the letters and my responses) here:

If you or someone you love is navigating grief, or trauma recovery please know that support is available — whether through reading, talking with a trusted person, or reaching out for professional

help. Your pain matters, and healing is possible in community.

Thank you, Candlelight Magazine, for continuing to create space for these important conversations.

Warmly,

Michelle Smith, LMHC
