Healing can often feel like an isolating, lonely journey, especially when others don’t fully "get" what you’re going through.
Perhaps you feel stuck in deep emotional patterns and wounds, longing for connection and understanding, but unsure where to find it.
Trauma, loss, or life transitions can leave you feeling disconnected, and traditional therapy alone might not provide the sense of community you need. The good news is, adding group therapy to your treatment plan offers a powerful way to heal while building meaningful connections with others who truly understand what you are going through in a safe, supportive environment!
I’m Michelle Smith, LPC, LMHC, LCMHC a licensed therapist providing virtual group therapy for clients in New Hampshire, Florida, Oklahoma, and Oregon.
My group therapy sessions provide a safe, comfortable environment to connect with others on a similar journey, normalize your experiences, and remind you that you’re not alone in your healing.
I currently offer several groups tailored to specific needs: an 8-week "Seeking Safety" group for trauma healing, focusing on coping skills and emotional & psychological safety; a 12-week relationship loss group for those struggling with separation or divorce, offering support through grief and rebuilding; a 6-week generalized grief and loss group to process various forms of death & loss; and a 90-minute "Introduction to Clinical Hypnosis" group, providing a starting point to explore clinical hypnosis for healing; and a 6-week motherhood and postpartum transition support group to navigate the challenges of new motherhood.
The benefits of group therapy are powerful: it reduces isolation, builds self-esteem, and helps you develop healthier coping skills.
As humans, we are hard-wired with the desire to have meaningful connections. Sometimes this can be challenging to do during your healing journey based on past subconscious patterns & beliefs that tell you others & the world around you are, “not safe”.
In group therapy, clients have the opportunity to normalize their experiences, finding validation, understanding, learning new coping strategies, and challenge existing belief systems. My clients leave group sessions with a renewed sense of connection—to yourself and others.
Whether you’re healing from trauma, grieving a loss, adjusting to motherhood, or curious about clinical hypnosis, my groups offer a space to grow and heal alongside others who truly GET IT!

Let’s work together to break free from the loneliness of healing and begin building your life with meaningful connection and understanding—you don’t have to heal alone! ♥️
